Door Controllers

The door controllers can control from a single door up to twelve doors from
a single controller, depending on the system being utilized. Most
access control systems have the capability of controlling hundreds to
thousands of doors through a single system. The door controllers
are the devices that the reader, locking hardware, door contacts, local
door alarms, and request to exit devices all interface with.
In the event of a software / head end computer failure the
door controllers will continue to operate, however, no programming
changes can be made until the head-end software is back on line.
All door controllers are powered from a power source that has battery back-up power.
