Fire Sprinkler Monitoring
As the owner of a building you are typically required to monitor the
sprinklers of that building in order to have occupants in the
building. This is a very straight forward system. The
current requirements in most jurisdictions call for the water flow
switches on the sprinkler riser to be monitored, and any shut off valves
to be tampered (Post Indicator Valve, Outside Stem & Yoke shutoffs,
etc.). Additionally, a smoke detector needs to be installed
above the Fire Alarm Control Panel, a manual pull station installed at the
main entrance to the building, a horn strobe to be installed above the
manual pull station, and an enunciator at the address
entrance.

This
type of system is typically monitored by a UL Listed Central Station per
code.
