Infrared Detectors

Infrared detectors and Infrared / Microwave detectors are designed for space detection.  After an intruder has gained entry into your building an infrared detector will detect the intruders presence.  Infrared detectors detect the change in heat, the heat given off by a person. 

Infrared / Microwave detectors detect the change in heat as well as movement.  Typically both elements have to be present to trigger an alarm.  Thus these dual detectors are used in less stable environments than the single element detectors.
