Intrusion & Fire Alarm Monitoring

PPSS offers alarm monitoring from its UL Listed Central Station.  We monitor and dispatch the authorities for intrusion alarm and fire alarm signals.  In addition to the basic alarm monitoring service we offer a variety of services related to the alarm monitoring.

Fire Alarm System Inspections

We provide quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections of commercial fire alarm systems.  These inspections are conducted in accordance with NFPA standards.

UL Central Station Fire Alarm Certification

PPSS is a UL Listed installing fire alarm company.  We are capable of issuing a UL Central Station Certificate on any fire alarm systems that conforms to UL's standards for such issuance.

Weekly Activity Reports

These activity reports will give you a detailed accounting of all the activities on your system.  These reports show when the system armed and disarmed, the user that armed and disarmed the system, any alarm or trouble conditions, and any actions taken by the Control Center dispatchers.  These reports are sent out on a weekly basis.

Alarm Supervision

We can supervise the opening and / or closing of your intrusion alarm system.  If the alarm system is not closed (armed) by a designated time then your responsible personnel will be notified.  Likewise, if the alarm system is not opened (disarmed) by a designated time you will be notified.  If the alarm system is opened outside the schedule you can also be notified.

Cellular Radio Monitoring

PPSS is capable of monitoring the cellular radio backup systems.  These systems are designed to transmit signals over the cellular radio data network.  In most applications these units serve as a backup to the traditional phone communications.

Video Verification

With a compatible network connected video surveillance system and the correct configuration we can video verify the intrusion alarm signals.  We can also conduct regular remote tours of your video system after hours, based on a schedule.

Elevator Monitoring

PPSS is capable of monitoring your elevator phone. 

Website Access to Your Account Information

We offer our customers access to their account information via our Central Station website.  This access provides you with your account information; authorized users and responsible party list, zone information, site information, and history reporting.
