System Overview
Access control systems
are designed to manage and control entry points into and throughout a
facility. These systems are typically used to control perimeter entry
points as well as critical interior areas (labs, computer rooms, storage
areas, engineering areas, human resources, accounting, etc.).
These systems provide for individual user access based on the doors in the system, times periods, and authorization levels. They are designed to replace the traditional key and lock system. Users can be
quickly added and deleted through the software, the re-keying of locks becomes obsolete.
These systems are
typically PC based with software running on Windows 95, 98, NT, DOS,
XP, Unix, OS2 and other platforms. The software provides for an easy
to use interface with the system. A variety of reports can be
generated from the software.
