System Overview

Fire alarm systems are designed to detect the presence of a fire or life safety emergency.  These systems consist of detectors that are automatically activated or manually activated.  Some of the common detectors associated with fire alarm systems are manual pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, horn strobes, strobes, water flow switches, and sprinkler tamper switches.
